Built in 1887, the 324m high iron lattice tower is located on the Champ de Mars in Paris and is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.

Arc de Triomphe, Paris

The Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile, is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It stands in the centre of the Place Charles, at the western end of probably one of the most famous avenues in France, if not the World, the Champs-Élysées.
The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath it’s vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I.

Army Museum, Paris

The Army Museum is one of the biggest museums of military art and history in the world. It offers a rich and varied cultural programme, based on its collections and temporary exhibitions.
The museum contains some of the world’s most prestigious collections, including old weapons and armour, small artillery models and a unique set of 19th-century items relating to Napoleon I.
It also has a portfolio of 24 aesthetic, technical and symbolic treasures, from the late Middle Ages to the Second World War.
